WW2 NSDAP M31 haversack or German "bread bag". Manufactured from light tan water repellent canvas, with brown leather and steel fittings. The outer edge of the front cover flap is rimmed with a narrow strip of dark brown leather. Some staining to the back and inside and the buttons have been replaced with Bakelite ones. Fair condition.
