Sauer 38H 7.65mm semi automatic pistol. Made from 1938 until 1945, this is the second model manufactured mid war and used by all German forces and particularly by the Luftwaffe. The H was used to signify the shrouded hammer. It has a 90mm barrel, Nazi 'Eagle over N' commercial proof, manual safety, chequered Bakelite grip with Sauer logo and the pistol and magazine have fully matching numbers. Due to the shrouded hammer, this gun features the revolutionary decocking lever to cock or decock the hammer safely. A fine example in good condition.
