Wartime US 1911A1 .45 semi automatic pistol, manufactured by Ithaca in 1943. Ithaca produced some 335,000 Colt 1911 pistols between December 1942 and 1945. This example is in good condition with original standard Ithaca grips, made by the Keyes Fiber Co. with ribs and "K" star in centre and mold no. 1-28. It has been professionally reblued with a fine blue finish and does fully field strip and dry fire. A good looking example of the classic US WW2 handgun.
