Introduced in 1930, the Walther PPK (Polizei Pistole Kriminal) was a reliable and easily concealled double action pistol. Taken from the design of the Walther PP, it was reduced in size and weight with a reduced capacity of 7 rounds and no back strap with a single molded Bakelite grip.
This is a good example of a third variation, 1942 military issue Walther PPK, with maker code Zella-Mehlis (Thüringen) and WaA359 waffenamt stamps. It has its original military blue, which is more grey and non reflective. The single wrap around grip has a small crack to the right hand side and a small split at the top of the back, which is a common weak area on the PPK grip. It has matching numbers, is Nitro proofed and has a small Persian marking to the rear of the grip frame from post war use. The gun is an Old Specification deactivation and has a clear barrel, is fully field strippable and dry fires. Supplied with a correct Walther marked magazine.
