Payment for all items can be taken in Pounds Sterling only.
We can accept payment by Cash, Cheque, Bank Transfer, Credit and Debit Cards. We do not charge for use of Credit or Debit Cards.
Please note, for security reasons, we can not ship to an unconfirmed address. In you are unable to provide a confirmed address, payment must be made by Cheque or Bank Transfer
Acknowledgment and Acceptance of Orders
Orders will not be dispatched until we have received full payment. Please note that our initial acknowledgment of your order and any deposit taken by us, does not constitute acceptance of that order. Should we, for any reason, decide not to accept, or cancel your order, we will advise you accordingly and any payment received will be refunded.
A proforma or invoice sent, once part paid, is considered a binding contract, be the order by verbal, by telephone or online transactions.
Upon delivery of your order, it is the responsibility of the person signing for the package to ensure that the item is not damaged. When a courier is used, the courier has a requirement to wait while any checks are carried out. It is important that all goods are checked before signing for the goods as claims for damages can not be made once you have signed that they are in good order. If the goods or packing appear to be damaged, there is an option on the courier hand signing device that says that the goods are damaged upon delivery or that you will not accept them. We must be made aware of this immediately.
After any order is completed, if it is not accepted within 28 days of notification, we may terminate the contract, keep a 20% deposit and resell the goods.
Cancellation and Returns
We do not generally sell goods on a sale or return basis. However, if the product is faulty, please contact us by email or phone, informing us of the faulty item. If you do require a refund, returns can be made within seven working days from your receipt of goods. The item must be returned, in the condition it was received, whereupon a full refund will be issued, less postage costs and any admin fees, including credit / debit card administration costs within fourteen working days.
Customers should note antique collectibles are not subject to the normal sale of goods acts. Please also note, we cannot be held responsible for a change in the customer's financial circumstances or a customer changing their mind after a sale; dealing with sales takes time and money and means an item cannot be offered to other potential customers. As such, should a customer cancel a sale after payment when there is no fault with the item we have sold them, we reserve the right to dock a 20% re-stocking/administration fee in addition to shipping costs from any refund we provide.
Please note the following points:-
Goods must returned in the same condition they were sent to you.
Proof of postage and relevant insurance cover must be obtained by the customer when the item is sent back. We do not refund on a purchase which has been lost or damaged on return to us.
All postage costs are non - refundable and will be paid by the customer.
Any refund due will be credited back to your account from within 14 days from when we receive the returned goods & you will receive a confirmation of refund email from us.
We reserve the right to cancel the order at any point for any reason until the order has been delivered and provide a full refund without being liable for any damages caused
Where possible, we aim to process your order within two working business days of placing your order. Delivery will be made using either a 24 hour, 48 hour or tracked postage service from this date within the uk. For the rest of the World, we will provide a tracked service. We use third party courier services for delivery who will provide an attempted delivery date. This date is not guaranteed by us and we will not be liable for any late delivery.
All orders are subject to a delivery, packaging and handling charge based on the total weight and size of your order and your location. Please be aware that we reserve the right to alter any miscalculation, and you will be notified of any change prior to shipping and the charging of any changes.
Layaway / Installment Plans
Layaway is available on most items over £200. We would need a deposit of 25% of the purchase price of the item. We would then require the remainder due to be paid in regular monthly installments within 90 days. Any missed or late payment will invalidate the layaway plan, unless agreed. A longer term can be agreed for items with a purchase price of over £1000.
Please note, once an order is placed, any down payment is non-refundable. If, for any reason, once the goods are ordered and you cannot pay the remainder of the outstanding amount or you miss a montly payment, we reserve the right to keep all monies previously paid.
As with all our items, unless otherwise stated, any item bought on a layaway plan, is guaranteed as original. However, if you elect to return an item that you have placed on layaway, we shall shall retain the 25% down payment as a processing and administrative payment, as the item would need to be marketed all over again.
Availability of Goods and Ordering
Our website is intended to show only items of stock that are still available for sale, but it is still possible that an item may be sold during your visit to the web site. In the unlikely event of an item being sold by the time you place your order we will inform you by email. In addition we reserve the right to keep an item listed on our site until any sale is completed and the item has been delivered.
Foreign Sales, VCR-restricted items and Age-limits
The customer is wholly responsible for checking local laws in their country of residence regarding the legality of import and ownership of all items we sell. We shall not be held responsible for any loss financial or otherwise for items seized, confiscated or damaged by border agencies or law enforcement organisations, or any penalties incurred by the customer for ordering restricted items under the laws of their country of residence. By agreeing to our terms and conditions when ordering, you are stating that it is legal for you to purchase all items under the VCR Act and additionally that you are of the requisite age and legally eligible to buy and own the item.

Additionally we provide some free articles, written by ourselves and accompanying illustrations and photographs.
All firearms sold by us are legal to own, be bought and sold without licences in the UK since they have been deactivated to UK-specifications or are deemed obsolete-calibre by the UK Home Office. We may be able to sell these items to certain other countries with identical legislation, but it is the obligation of the purchaser to ensure that this is the case, and if import/export authority is required to arrange and where necessary pay for this prior to shipping.
We do not endorse the socio-political views of the states/organisations that originally produced the items we provide; they are simply sold as collectable items of historical interest. In the UK all such items are legal to own provided they do not directly incite religious or racial hatred. If the legislation is different in the purchaser’s country of residence it is their duty to ensure that any items they purchase comply with state legislation, not RJ Militaria’s.
