S1031 - Deactivated WWII US Thompson M1 - Moving bolt

The M1 Thompson, was the final production variant of this famous .45 sub machine gun, manufactured for the US Military. It was introduced in 1942 as a simplified version of the 1928A1 with production finally finishing in February 1944, with the introduction of the M3. It is the iconic GI sub-machine gun of WW2.

This example is in very good condition, manufactured by Savage Arms and marked with the Auto Ordnance designation. It has a fine blue to the metal work and the woodwork is solid. It is deactivated to current UK specifications, but with moving bolt / cocking handle and trigger. A fine example of the WWII US classic sub machine gun.
