A very good condition old-spec .45 calibre 1928A1 Thompson. The WW2 combat example of the 1928 as used by the US Marines and Army all across the Pacific and European theatres and prized over the later M1 Tommy and M3 Grease-Guns. Also issued in smaller numbers to British and Commonwealth soldiers, it was a particular favourite of British commandos when they could obtain them. This example is one of the rarer AO – Auto Ordnance examples rather than the more common Savage made guns and has the early Lyman fully adjustable sights. It can be loaded with the early 50 and 100 round drums unlike the later, simplified M1 and M1A1 Thompsons. It strips cocks and dry-fires and both the metal and wood are in very good condition, it comes complete with a 20 round box magazine. A scarce AO manufactured old-spec 1928 at an unbeatable price.
