C306 - WW2 CZ24 / 27 pistol wth holster

C306 - WW2 CZ24 / 27 pistol wth holster
The Czech CZ24 was manufactured prior to WW2 and was chambered for the 9mm short round with a magazine capacity of 8 rounds. It was replaced by the CZ27 with a simplified locking system and chambered the 7.65mm / .32 ACP with a 9 round magazine capacity. This example is a hybrid with a wartime CZ27 pistol grip frame and an early pre-war CZ24 barrel and slide. The right hand frame carries a Waffenamt stamp and both the frame and slide have been re-numbered. It is not known when this was carried out, but was possibly a period arsenal re-work. Complete with a 9mm short magazine, and un-dated brown leather holster.

A382 - Very Rare Early Model 1906 Luger with grip safety
A very rare early "Model 1906" squeeze grip Luger, in 9mm calibre, manufactured by DWM. The serial number dates the gun to 1907 production, just prior to the start of Military production. Nazi Police Luger with Schiwy Safety

A383 - Nazi Police Luger with rare Schiwy Safety
A rare Polizei model 1929 Luger Police Luger with rare Schiwy safety. The Schiwy safety was patented in Germany in February 1932 and relied on a simple bar that would spring onto the surface of the trigger when the magazine was removed. It was not not successful and most were removed after 1937.

This example was manufactured in the late 1920s with a DWM toggle and a vertical crown N proofed receiver indicating the gun has been test fired with "nitro" or smokeless powder. It has no date stamp to the receiver with the commercial style of numbering, giving rise to the name "Sneak Lugers" by collectors, as they would have to sneak arms past inspectors after the treaty of Versaille. It was then subsequently converted to a Police Luger during the early 1930s, with the addition os the Schiwy safety system and the added Eagle over WaA66 Waffenamt proof on the receiver right side which is found on receivers of 1930-1933 Mauser reworks.

The gun has a fine original rust blue with undamaged grips. There is some moderate pitting to the left hand side of the barrel and reciver from handling / poor storage, but it is a rare model and displays very well.

M83 Reichs Revolver

A155 - Antique, Obsolete Calibre M83 Reichs Revolver
Introduced in 1879, the Imperial German Government (Deutsches Kaiser Reich) selected the 1879 and later the 1883 Reichs revolver as the standard issue revolver for the army and Navy. The main difference between the two weapons was the barrel length - the 1879 had a 7" barrel and the 1883 a 4.5" barrel. Eventually being replaced by the P08 Luger pistol, the Reichs revolver none the less saw active service by Germany in the First World War.

This example is in very good condition. It carries the Erfurt manufacting banner with a crown on the left hand frame with an 1895 date and Imperial proof marks. The grips are original and are in good condition with a slighty worn / surface damage to the right hand fron grip. The numbers match except for the barrel and the gun has a fine original blue with a Regimental marking to the back of the butt - 8.R.R.6.2.

The gun is in 10.55mm calibre designated obsolete by the UK Home office and can be owned without a licence. A fine historic revolver.
