Stamped bnz 42 for manufacture by Steyr in 1942, this is the third variation MP40. The gun is in very good condition, with a nice even original blue to the metal work and bakelite in excellent condition. The gun has matching numbers to all parts apart from the barrel which was the first component to wear out in combat. Deactivated to old specifications, the gun can be fully field stripped and dry fired. A good condition near-matching MP40 which undoubtedly saw combat.
