Stamped bnz 44 for manufacture by Steyr in 1944, this is the hard to find fifth variation MP40, only made by Steyr, with a one-piece grip frame and integral end cap. The gun is in very good condition, with a nice even original blue to the metal work and bakelite in excellent condition. The gun has matching numbers to many of the parts with a non matched number on the receiver. The folding stock is tight and in good working order. Deactivated to old specifications, the gun can be fully field stripped and dry fired. MP40 are hard to find in this condition.
