A 1940, Battle of Britain dated, Aircraft Identification Telescope A.A. Mark 3.
A prismatic sighting telescope, operated by Observer Corps and Woman’s ATS units. The telescope required a crew of two and was to track the height and bearing of enemy aircraft once over England. The telescope is in good overall condition, with it’s original black painted finish. With two ring and bead supplementary sights, spirit level, two adjustment crank handles and main crank handle for the mount and twin carrying handles. A fine Battle of Britain era piece of history.
