Description

The Pattern 1907 bayonet was the standard bayonet issued to British and Commonwealth forces during the First World War and continued in widespread service throughout the Second World War. It was originally designed for use with the Short Magazine Lee-Enfield (SMLE) rifle and became one of the most widely produced British bayonets of the 20th century.

This example was manufactured by Wilkinson Sword and is dated 1917. It bears the King’s Crown inspection marks, consistent with wartime British military production.

The bayonet features a long single-edged blade with a fuller running along both sides, steel cross-guard with muzzle ring, and the characteristic grip plates secured with two rivets.

Presented in good condition, the blade shows light signs of age but remains clean and well preserved. The grips are intact and secure. Complete with its scabbard.

The sale of knives, edged weapons and firearms is restricted to persons aged 18 or over. Age verification is required prior to purchase.
