Description

Original WWII MG34/42 angled screwdriver, manufactured from blued, tooled steel. This spanner-style wrench measures approximately 13cm in length, with a 20mm-wide central handle. One end features a rectangular 20mm-wide head with a raised lip and semi-circular cut-out, specifically designed for the maintenance of MG34 and MG42 machine guns.

Clearly and deeply stamped with the manufacturer’s code “bhm”, indicating production by Gustav Auerswald Besteckfabrik, Grünhain.

The blued finish is in good condition overall, showing some loss of bluing and light surface wear from service use. There is very minor surface pitting, but the tool remains solid, structurally sound, and fully functional.

A standard-issue item carried in every MG gunner’s tool pouch — a great piece for collectors, reenactors, or anyone looking to complete an original MG34/42 kit.
