Excellent used condition wartime MG42 manufactured by Gustloff Werke with the manufacturer code ‘dfb’ and date code ‘FG’ for 1943. Waffenamt eagle proofed with a dark blued finish. All parts are wartime German, including the wooden butt stock. Complete with rear AA sight.

The German MG42 machine gun was designed by Großfuß as a replacement for the MG34 and entered service in 1942. It was manufactured using stamped and folded sheet steel with a unique roller-locking bolt system. Capable of a very high rate of fire (approximately 1,200–1,600 rpm), it proved to be an extremely effective and robust weapon.

For UK and non-EU sales only. Supplied with UK deactivation certificate. Can be re-deactivated to current EU/UK specification on request.
