Description

WWII German Army small dress bayonet produced by Carl Eickhorn of Solingen.

This example is a compact version of the standard German Heer dress bayonet pattern from the Second World War period. The blade measures approximately 150 mm in length, with an overall length of around 260 mm.

The polished blade shows light surface scratches consistent with age and handling. The original maker’s mark is faint but identifiable as Carl Eickhorn, a well-known Solingen manufacturer of German military edged weapons.

The bayonet follows the typical Heer dress pattern and was intended as a privately purchased uniform accessory rather than a combat-issued weapon.

It is complete with its black painted metal scabbard and leather belt hanger. The piece displays honest age and remains a good representative example of a smaller German Army dress bayonet from the WWII era.

The sale of knives, edged weapons and firearms is restricted to persons aged 18 or over. Age verification is required prior to purchase.
