Description

Original WWII MG34/42 angled screwdriver, manufactured from blued, tooled steel. This spanner-style wrench measures approximately 13cm in length, with a 20mm-wide central handle. One end features a rectangular 20mm-wide head with a raised lip and semi-circular cut-out, designed for use in the maintenance of MG34 and MG42 machine guns.

Clearly and deeply stamped with the maker’s code “bhm”, identifying the manufacturer as Gustav Auerswald Besteckfabrik, Grünhain.

Some light surface pitting is present on the metal from age and service use, but the tool remains solid, structurally sound, and fully usable. A standard item carried in every MG gunner’s field tool pouch — essential for collectors or restorers looking to complete a kit.
