An original WWII-era wooden transit chest for the Bren light machine gun. Designed to securely store and transport the Bren, this chest is compatible with the Mk I, Mk II, and Mk III variants.
The box is in good solid condition throughout, complete with internal fittings, both original rope carry handles, and robust solid wood construction. It retains its original green painted finish, showing honest wear from age and use.
A unique feature is a foreign roundel-style marking on the top lid, adding an extra layer of historical interest—possibly indicating postwar or overseas service.
