Description

An excellent example of the wartime WWII Czech ZB-30 / German MG30(t) Light Machine Gun LMG.
The gun has been deactivated to UK old spec standards so can be field stripped and dry fired.

One of the best light machine guns of WWII, the ZB26 and later modified ZB30 were forerunners of the British Bren gun. It was manufactured with high quality parts and workmanship with finned barrel, adjustable bipod, dial sight, 20 round box magazine and cup butt plate with shoulder rest.
Commonly employed by German SS troops serving on the Eastern front in WWII.

This example was manufactured at the BRNO plant in Czechoslovakia prior to WWII for foreign export to Serbia, but captured and used by Germany during the war. It is one of a small number imported in the early 1990s after being found in pallet storage. The gun has an early pre-war 1937 dated magazine, with the Czech lion.
The gun has been overhauled by the German’s in WWII, with several small parts carrying the “HK” proof markings signifying overhaul by the German company Heinrich Krieghoff. The gun is in excellent condition, matching numbers with a fine original blue.

It is for UK and Non EU sales Only. Can be re-deactivated to EU/UK spec on request.
