Description
Original WWII German MG13 Barrel – 1940 Dated, Deactivated with Proof Certificate
BSW Manufacture – Waffenamt Marked
A fine and original example of a WWII German MG13 barrel, professionally deactivated and accompanied by the correct proof house certificate, making it fully legal for ownership under applicable regulations.
This is an early-war barrel, dated 1940, and manufactured by BSW (Berlin-Suhler Waffenfabrik), one of the key German arms producers of the interwar and early WWII period. The barrel retains a good wartime blued finish and is marked with multiple Waffenamt inspection stamps (WaA4)—all consistent with authentic pre-1940 German military production.

The MG13 saw service with German forces in the early stages of WWII before being largely replaced by the MG34 and later MG42. Today, surviving original components—especially barrels with proper markings and certification—are increasingly hard to find.
This is an excellent piece for collectors of early German machine guns or for display with deactivated MG13 builds and related gear.
